RADNOR, Pa. – Jan. 8, 2014 – Storeroom Solutions Inc. (SSI), the fastest growing independent MRO supply specialist in North America, has named Scott West Vice President, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement. He previously served as General Manager for the company’s Midwest accounts.
West will lead the company’s growing purchasing team and work closely with operations and other departments to build on existing initiatives and streamline the company’s procurement processes to maximize efficiency while providing continued value to clients.

West joined Storeroom Solutions in 2011 as business development director for the Midwest region. In 2012, he was promoted to general manager and was assigned one of the company’s highest profile clients, an internationally recognized food & beverage manufacturer. In that position, he was responsible for all SSI activity at client locations, including contract negotiations, generating site operating agreements, implementation, site operations, reporting, relationship management and periodic measurement and reporting activities.
Before joining SSI, West consulted as a category management lead for a procurement services organization where he led the MRO and plant services team in a $250 million program spend. Prior to that, he was vice president and general manager of a startup materials management company, leading operations for the company and generating more than $50 million in revenue. Other key industry experience includes five years as an integrated supply and operations manager within the automotive group of a large materials distribution organization. He has additional experience in logistics, warehousing, and inventory control arenas. He earned his Bachelor of Science and executive MBA degrees from Youngstown State University, Youngstown, Ohio.
